The directions for use are simple. To obtain a good durable finish, the surface to be coated must be clean and dry, free from oil, grease, rust or wax. Then, use sandpaper to remove any loose paint and rust. Shake the spray paint vigorously until the glass agitator rattles freely, and hold the can upright and spray from a distance of 25 - 30 cm (10 - 12 inches) from the surface in stroking motion to get a smooth uniform coat throughout.
